The Magic Porridge Pot
A few students performed a Reader's Theater called The Magic Porridge Pot. They did a great job! (sorry this is from December and I'm just now posting it!)
The 100th Day of School
To celebrate the 100th day of school, students brought in a collection of 100 things. BUT...they had to keep their collection a secret! The students wrote riddles describing their collection and then their peers got to guess what they brought.
Dr. Seuss Day
To celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday, we had a Seuss-kind of day! We read Green Eggs and Ham, then made them, of course! The students even got to crack their own egg. While waiting for the eggs to cook, they enjoyed reading Seuss books to each other. Afterwards, we wrote couplets about whether or not they liked green eggs and ham. (I will eat them on the floor, I will eat them out the door!)
